Copy and paste above information into Excel
Save the file as MBUDGET2
Add a new column of formulas to total the amounts spent in each budget category.
Enter Cat. Total as the label above the new formulas
Add a new row of formulas to total the expenses for each month, as well as the category totals. 
Use the quick sum method to enter these formulas.
Enter Monthly Totals as the label to the left of the new formulas
Add another new row of formulas to subtract each monthly total from the income amount in cell B4]
Enter Income-Expenses as the label to the left of the new formulas
For months where expenses exceed income, your formulas should calculate a negitive result
Format the spreadsheet title in the font of your choice in 20-point size
Center it across the range that spans the width of the spreadsheet entries
Enter the current date in cell A2 and format the date to use the m/dd  format
Format the labels in cell A4 and the range A6:A16 in wrap text alignment.  Also apply italics to those cells
Format the rest of the cells in row 6 in italics
Format all the cells holding values and formulas as currency
Email completed spreadsheet to pstephan@nuhsd.k12.ca.us
