PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Frosh Tech
Grading in this course will be based upon the following:
Class Projects & Quizzes
80%
Timed Writings 10%
Discretionary Points 10%
No homework or textbooks will be issued for this class. All work
is to be completed in class.
If a student is absent for a valid reason, a student is expected
to make up the work the following day. Only graded assignments need to be made up. If the student cannot make up the
assignment the next day, special arrangements must be made between the teacher
and the student.
All tests and graded assignments will be corrected and returned
to the students in a timely fashion.
If a student is not satisfied with his or her timed writing
score or class project grade, they are welcomed to come in after school or
during Bruin Hour to correct and resubmit their paper for regarding. However,
students are not to use class time to redo assignments, unless so instructed.
Discretionary points will constitute 10% of your overall grade.
If the total points possible for the quarter are 300 this will amount to 30
points. A
student will lose points for not being on task.
