| Science Mr. Savoie is a 1981 graduate of California Lutheran University. He completed his Masters degree at Chapman University. His first teaching assignment was at Colina Intermediate School in Thousand Oaks, Ca in 1982. While teaching at Colina, he coached at Westlake High School. After four years at Colina, Mr Savoie transferred to Westlake High School. After two years, he moved to Moreno Valley Ca and taught and coached at Canyon Springs High School. In 1994, the Savoie family moved to Grass Valley and he joined the Bear River staff.
Mr. Savoie currently teaches science and weights at Bear River and is Varsity Head Football
Coach and a Co-Head Track Coach. When he is not teaching or coaching, you can usually
find him fishing! Mr Savoie and his wife Carreen, have three sons named John, Landon,
and Jake. The Savoie family is very involved with Bear River athletics and local youth
sports as well. They also enjoy camping, back packing, and winter sports.
