Activities Director
Mr. Rodriguez is the Activities Director for Bear River High School. He also teaches Photography, and Leadership. Mr. Rodriguez has been teaching at Bear River High School since the day it opened, and 12 years before in San Jose. Mr. Rodriguez has a Masters in Education, Bachelors in Physical Education, and Math and Social Studies credentials. Mr. Rodriguez helps leadership students plan all of the activities at Bear River from the opening day assembly, to all the end of the year senior activities, including school rallies, dances, and clubs.
Mr. Rodriguez's photography classes organize and publish an annual magazine titled, Eye Can See. The magazine is the combined work of the two photo classes at Bear River High School. The 2nd year photo student will learn the publishing techniques found in Adobe Pagemaker. The beginning student will experience everything from basic "pinhole cameras" to handtinting black and white photos. Mr. Rodriguez is an avid photographer who has worked as a wedding and portrait photographer. Today he takes many pictures of the students and the majority of all the school's activities.
