Taryn Loehr
Counseling



Taryn Loehr has had her teaching credential for 24 years and her pupil personel services credential for 14 years. She has been counseling at Bear River High School for the past ten years. She has a Bachelor's and Teaching Credential in Industrial Arts which she earned from CSU, Chico and a Masters Degree and PPS credential in Counseling from CSU, Fresno.
She enjoys scuba diving and was a scuba instructor for many years. Other hobbies include sailing, biking, running, swimming, and fly fishing. She also enjoys painting with watercolors and oils, and making stain glass windows. She has 3 beautiful children, and has been married for 20 years. She spent around four years traveling and working on a yacht. This gave her the opportunity to see much of the world including the North East, Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

At Bear River, Mrs. Loehr will be serving students with last names beginning with H-M. Additionally, she is the ROP Liaison for Bear River High School students. Her work days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
