Health Office, Cheerleading Coach
Chris Espedal serves as the Health Technician for Bear River High School. She is a certified EMT, and prior to coming to Bear River worked 10 years in the UC Davis Medical Group.
As Health Technician, her job encompasses a wide span of responsibilities. She is responsible for any health emergencies or incidents, keeps all immunization records up to date, alerts faculty and coaching staff to any health problems a student may have, assists with vision and hearing screening, administers medication daily, secures substitute teachers as needed, and teaches CPR and First Aid to staff and coaches.
Chris also works as support staff for Pioneer High School keeping their transcripts and records.
And if that wasn't enough, she is in her eleventh year as cheer coach for the Bear River High School Cheerleaders.
