Lab Tech, ESL Specialist
Mary Eckes is Bear River's computer technician and ESL specialist. She oversees two computer labs and makes sure all the BRHS equipment is running smoothly. She especially enjoys working in graphic arts. Mary earned her Bachelor's degree in English from Cal State Fullerton, and began working on computers when she attended Cal State Chico. When Mary isn't working on the computers, she might be helping the foreign exchange students or students who speak a language other than English. She has over twenty years experience in teaching ESL students. Whether she is helping students with language or teaching them computer skills, she enjoys helping students reach their full potential.
