Welcome and congratulations on your new job! Joining the news team of 60 Minutes may be the best decision of your lives! As you are aware we are in our 34th season and we provide a blend of hard-hitting investigative reporting, We finished our 2000-01 season as the number-one rated news magazine....and we hired your team to insure us that we continue to be Number 1!

Our 16 million viewers who tune into our broadcast every Sunday night must become information literate and savvy users of the Information Superhighway. It is the job of your team to make this happen.

As members of the "I TEam" (A elite group of reporters who have mastered information literacy) you will be tackling some pretty difficult topics but with a little research and investigation your team will be able to accomplish the task at hand.
